Product Info and Care Instructions
Product Information
Our bags are handmade in the Providence, Rhode Island one at a time by Samantha.
Every piece is cut by hand and no two are alike. Color combinations and design may vary slightly from piece to piece.
We use natural vegetable tanned leather. Items may be stiff and pockets may feel tight in the beginning. Over time each piece with stretch and mold to your needs becoming soft and supple as it ages.
Vegetable tanned leathers will darken with time giving each piece a rich, beautiful patina. This is a natural process and should be welcomed. It will bear markings and color changes, building character, and giving each piece its own story.
We also use high quality domestic leather and suede in addition to responsibly sourced leather from Italy and South America.
Part of the handmade quality is the uniqueness of every piece and the beauty in the imperfections. Please note there may be natural inconsistencies which are not product flaws. Please use each piece with love and care.
Care Instructions
Vegetable-tanned leather is extremely tough and could serve for many years. However, it does require occasional maintenance depending on the storage condition and usage.
Wipe with a clean damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. If leather is starting to look dirty or feel dry, we recommend using Smith's Leather Balm to replenish the oils in the leather and keep it clean and supple. Do not use Smiths on Suede or Nubuck.
Suede and Nubuck will reflect the marks of your life! There are protective sprays available but be aware they will DARKEN the Suede/Nubuck.
We recommend storing your piece in its dust bag away from direct sunlight.
Avoid exposure to water.
